The Kidde Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector, Combination Smoke & CO Alarm with Lithium Battery and Replacement Alert, model p3010k-CO, features photoelectric & electrochemical sensing technology that operates on a 10-year, sealed lithium battery. The combination smoke & carbon monoxide detector provides continuous protection from smoke and carbon monoxide, even during power outages. A red LED will flash & be accompanied by 3 long alarm beeps followed by a verbal warning that warns of fire, carbon monoxide, & low battery. The test button ensures operating power. The alarm will automatically activate when its attached to the mounting bracket. The alarm includes a Replacement Alert: after 10 years of use, it will chirp 2 times every 30 seconds to indicate the alarm needs to be replaced. The Replacement Alert can be silenced for 3 days at a time, maximum of 30 days. UL Certified with a 10-year limited warranty.
