These high-performance, Italian-made racing saddles are mostly flat, with a subtle cradle at the back to hold the rider in the prime sitting position. Launched in 2000, they created an immediate sensation and fostered legions of new Selle Italia fans. Todays iconic and lightweight SLR family includes 21 unique saddles for different disciplines, genders, and riding preferences. The Selle Italia SLR Boost TM bicycle saddle, introduced in 2020, marries modern technology and saddle ergonomics to the popular SLR design. In Selle Italia nomenclature, Boost means the saddle is short nosed compared to traditional saddles, a modification that improves pedaling ergonomics, rider maneuverability, comfort, and performance. The SLR Boost TM shares the same design and molding as other SLR Boost saddles, but at a fraction of the price, thanks to the utilization of manganese and chromoly TM rails and a Soft-Tek polyurethane cover. This 230-gram saddle has a traditional central fill with an indented central channel to allow for pressure-relieving comfort. It is offered in two sizes: idmatch Size S1 and L1.
